Hey, I know I usually don’t write any text post around here, because is not the point of this sketchblog, but I have reason today.
Lately I have been aware of more of my artwork posted here on tumblr (the few fandom related I have, obviously) being reposted on blogs/forums/tumblr. A lot of people still reblog some of my Glee and my ‘newest’ OUAT fanart, but for every handful of users that reblogs, one reposts. I’m not against it at all, but I would appreciate it greatly if you credit back to any of my sites if you don’t want to warn me (which can be tedious, I know).
I understand most people only want to show it, not use it. And I’m not one for judging people for wanting to share stuff, obviously. It is what tumblr is about isn’t it? But It’s very tiring being around chasing people that doesn’t know me and make myself look like a pompous demanding asshole just to get credit for my artwork, even if it is fanbased.
I have a little F.A.Q. page I wrote when Glee was still an interest of mine. Most of what was written is still valid. (Not like Brittana and Faberry lost all their appeal, but my feelings towards the show are dead. Like totally.)
If you have any questions about it, I really don’t mind answering them. But please, I have enough work of my own without having to chase people on the internet with no other purpose than this. It seems like a silly thing to worry about for some, but I think it really is not. Every artist, everywhere on the net should be credited for their work, there is no excuses for not doing so and they shouldn’t be chasing people all the time for it either.
And with that, I’m out. I’ll try to post with some regularity this year, if I find the time.
By the way, a very big thank you to all the new followers of this blog. You make my day! :D
Just doing meaningless stuff at 7:30AM
Very few details and works from my time working on the comic ‘-INTERFERENCES-’ for the yuri-based spanish fanzine ‘Lis en Fleur’ this last August.
(sorry, in Spanish only).
I completely forgot I had these.
